Question To Men Who Are Active With Female Dogs, how do you get her to lay on her back

hmmmm I was thinking about it, im not a guy but i had a question for you guys who are active with their female dogs.

Ive seen alot of vids and pics, where the female just lays on her back and enjoys it and its really a pleasure to see.

so my question is how do you get them or train them to do that even when they are out of heat?

Ive had some friends tell me they were tighter when in heat so that may be a factor not really sure. I would think the females would be all over the place when i see them some times get away from the males when they are trying to breed even when they are flagging them. Its just interesting thought to me :huh:

You have virtually answered your own question. It is a matter of time and training.

It is not my favourite position, whenever I indulged in intercourse the dog was usually on her side which meant that I could stroke her soft underbelly, chest and head. It also meant that my weight was not likely to come down on the dog in a moment of passion.

It is not a normal process for a dog to allow a human to penetrate so training is vital to ensure that the dog trusts you to not hurt her in any way. When she is in heat and both the internal organs and the external vaginal opening have swelled it CAN mean that the vagina is tighter, it can also mean that the enjoyment is multiplied for both the male and the dog, fluids ensure that the friction is minimised.

If there is a mutual trust and a loving relationship in action, penetration outside of the heat cycle is still very much an option, one that my dogs and I have shared over many years.

Just compare it to a human relationship.

I suppose anyone big enough can make a small enough dog lay on her back, but the best and only way I recommend takes time and building trust (this is a position of vulnerability). Play with her, get her used to being petted while on her back, "heavy petting", etc. Your goal is for her to be happy and willing by herself, without restraint or holding. (See picture below.) She's not held or forced in any way, and lays like that just by being asked. I don't command "Down" or any such, just look like you want to, and she does it.
As to tightness, they are looser and swollen just before true heat, and get tighter (trying to tie) when in full heat.
My opinion, this is the best position. I enjoy the contact, it's closer and more intimate, you can see her face, it's way easier on the knees, any difference in height doesn't matter. However this is not a position to force-- she can easily bite your face off if she has to.
While it would depend on your personal build and that of your dog, I have no concern about hurting a Dane with my weight..........

its a matter of trust.it wouldnt be mutch fun to force her thats not how i would want it .they are born with the ,sex is only for heat and for makin puppies i was never one for waiting for two years like every one sezzz to do i start at about 6 months old ,not sex , rolling her on her back feeling her up building trust .at there first heat i can tell you there very confused there still learning there bodies its best not to push it when she has built up trust then you can go into sex and it dont matter if in heat or not she will trust you not to hurt her and at the same time watching her to make shure your not .over time for my girl she was about 2 years old when she finaly got into sex any time and then you just keep going trying different positions .i realy like her on her back thats my favorit ,i love looking in her eyes while we make love when we first started sex on her back as i made love to her she would take my hand in her mouth ,sorta like you hurt me ill hurt you thing .as i enterd her some times she would bite down and it would hurt it just let me know to go slow and she would loosen her grip .after awhile she stopped doing that its all about trust and love :D

I fully second with Mopar, it is a trust issue, go slow, let her know you will not hurt her ever, don't ever force her, and just take the time to let her trust you, once that trust is there it is a very wonderful thing. Don't ever betray that trust and you will have a great trusting lover.

As others have already said, it's a matter of building trust. It's about belly scratching, verbal rewards, rubbing, petting and stroking until she feels comfortable just lying on her back and being petted. After that, you can move on to playing with nipples, vaginal stroking and fingering and so on.

As with so many other questions, the answer is..."it depends on the dog."

Some like it, some don't.

I always used a pillow; she seemed to lay more comfortably on that than lying flat on the bed (granted, I had a pretty firm mattress).

this question has been answered quite well when i first started with my girl thats the first position i tried but she wouldnt stay on her back for very long.so mainly we just do it with her on top but we occasionaly try it in missonary i wish she would do less work.

My GSD girl and I are working on this position. At this time we are doing a lot of just having her on her back while I am on top of her and just kissing. No penetration until later on down the road when we are both comfortable. She loves it and so do I. When the time is right it will just happen.

Its less of a matter of "training" them to lie on their back for sex. And more that dogs often enjoy laying on their backs so you can rub their tum tums. Some dogs simply never like being made to lie on their backs for any reason regardless if its for sex, even when they love having sex in doggie position. So in short they just learn that sex is one more thing they can do while laying on their backs. That having their owners play dog bongos on their stomachs. TTFN! ^_^
