when looking through the the user forums under the united states
i see a bunch of mixed posts from all over the UNITED STATES
why cant it be more user friendly

like when you click on united states

all the states should have a separate forum and if you click on your state
all the main areas in that state would have its own individual forum !

it would make it easier to post and find post and there would be less wasted space here on this site !

kinda like this!

MICHIGAN FORUM

ann arbor
central michigan
detroit metro
flint
grand rapids
jackson
kalamazoo
lansing
muskegon
northern michigan
port huron
saginaw-midland-baycity
south bend / michiana
southwest michigan
upper peninsula

What about the non-US residents, should we expect the same level of location specificity for them? What about the people who don't live in the created subforums - where would they post? There are way too many factors to consider, all going to virtually no improvement over the current system. Including your state/city/area of residence in the topic title and more accurate specifications within the post itself shouldn't be too much to ask (considering the whole point of the personals section is to actually meet up.)

If people want to meet badly enough, they can (or should) put forth the effort necessary to properly convey their location.

that is why - because if we do it for the states then we have to do it for all the euro countries - and if we do it for them weh ave to do it for... I think you see the problem - there would be HUNDTEDS AND HUNDREDS of categories - and the simple answer is that is why we have a search engine - utilize it for easy browsing ;)
