Need Help With My Newfoundland

Hi everyone

Ive got a 2 yr old newfoundland male. Ive been trying to get sexual with him, but so far he doesnt seem interested at all. Ive tried jerking him off and sucking him, but no matter what i do he does get hard but thats about it. He doesnt even attempt to mount me.
Am i doing something wrong ?

A little more info please. Has he been neutered? When you say he gets hard, does he get a full blown erection where his knot swells up fully? Also how does he react exactly toward your sexual advances. Also does he have ANY sexual experience at all, even with other dogs? Further 2yrs old is not necessarily sexually mature for a giant breed like Newfies. Usually its often more around 2 1/2 years of age.

You have to take it really easy with him, or any other dog for that matter. All dogs have the drive, but some can be new to the idea, specially if the dog is fixed. Do a lot of petting down there and rubbing just to get him used to it. Most dogs tends to know what to do after a week or to of constant rubbing. The keyword there is "most." I have never met a dog myself that I have never got to mount a friend, but i know friends in other states who have tried and it took a while. Only one or two that never mounted but seemed to enjoy laying on their back and letting the girls ride them.

So like I said. You need to take it slow and rub down there a bit just about every day to get him used to it. By rubbing I do mean get him hard with a full erection. Sooner or later he should go at it. No promises though.. sorry.

My newf has never had sex before, not with other dogs aswell. When he smells a bitch in heat he does like the sent, but doesnt seem to understand whats going on, cuz even when a bitch in heat walks past him he will smell her and eat her pussy but never even attempted to mount her. He hasnt been "fixed" so that cant be the problem either.
When i rub him i can feel his cock get hard but most of it stays inside its shaft only about half of it comes out and the knot has never shown so far.
He does like me playing with it but seems to get confused when i continue to play with it when he gets hard.

Alot of the newfies are such a laid back dog, and so gentle, that some of them really don't do much of anything. Some dogs, well like people do not like sex. Dogs are alot like people, with problems in life. Some are fuckers, and some could care less about ever having sex. I have a male that is like that. I agree they can be a bit laid back, but if and when he gets the urge to mount, be ready for some forceful mounting. Occasional you will find a dog that is not interested in breeding, some not even with their own spices. If he is not interested in sex then give up trying as you still have his friendship for life. Maybe I was lucky with Blackie, he was a willing partner until old age caught up with him.
