My Pup, please keep good thoughts for him

Hi all,

I know I've only posted once or twice here, but I needed to vent and I know you all would understand.

We took our dog for his first check-up today and the vet fears he may have testicular cancer. We have made an appt to get him neutered this weekend and the vet will be observing him and call us w/the test results that follow.

Please keep him in your thoughts.

Sorry to hear that. I wonder, is there any test that can be done first ? It wouldn't be good to have him neutered and the tests performed afterwards come back negative. I do hope things work out ok regardless of what test results show. ZZ.

I really do hope that your puppy makes it through this and lives a long and happy life with you. A few of the dogs in my family have gotten cancer in the past and it is never a nice thing to deal with. My hope heart goes out to you and your little friend.

i hope you get good news. i can soo relate because lately my doggy as been getting lil bumps under her skin but im told its like warts for little doggys or something <_< i dont know but she seems really happpy and shes eating sooo. anyways i hope your puppy is okay .

The one good thing is he still runs and plays the way a pup should, and seems very happy.

I will know more come next week and will update this thread with his condition.

I wanted to update all those who wished us well.

My pup is recovering and doing great. There were no other signs of cancer during the surgery. We are still awaiting the biopsy on the one enlarged testicle, but the other one appeared to be normal.

He's running around, despite our trying to limit his activity for now, as if nothing is wrong. We are just happy to have him home :).

I am also sending good wishes your way. For both of you of course.

The vet called us back w/the lab results yesterday evening and everything looks good. No signs of cancer.

Needless to say we have breathed a HUGE sigh of relief and are glad to put this all behind us.
