Part 5
Weeks went by, we were on pretty friendly terms, hell, I had lived
there now for about 6 months, I decided to extend the friendship!! I asked
Dane at the mailboxes if he and Brutus would like to come over for a
casual Bar-B-Q? I thought I had screwed up, because his face got all red,
he looked at the ground and kinda stammered a bit. I began to give him a
raincheck, but he blurted out that he had wanted to ask me over....they
wanted to ask me over he corrected!! I of course accepted!!!!
8 pm they would be off their shift, and could have steaks done by 8:30!!
I offered to bring the beverages, but he said, "I've got beer and something
harder if you like!" He blushed a dark red, turned away and said, "See you
tonight!!" Hmmmm. What did that whole thing mean?!?!?
