Right now as im typing this, she is saying that she thinks its gross and wrong. I think she is terribly closed minded and that the two are not similiar by any means. I have explained how most people and develop relationships with their partners be it horse, dog, etc. and because often it is initiated by the partner, it is in no way cruel, or bad. I have personally had my experiences, and didnt feel guilty afterwards, and certinaly dont regret it.

So give me some stuff to throw at her!

If it were so gross and wrong...why are their so many who enjoy it? Why do the animals let it happen? Dont say a 200lb dog is being forced...almost no one is going to force a 22lb dog to do anything he doesnt want to do.

how many would you say do actually enjoy it? Do we have any numbers such as 1 in ever 5 have done it, 1 in 10 have seriously considered it? Numbers like those might make her think.

 If she's not ready for it you shouldn't push it. Drop the issue for a while and start it over in a very slow and tactfull manner

Search around the forum...check some of the great posts in the Zoophilia section...if she knows you come here, sit down and read some of it with her. She'll be able to see how people feel about their animals, how much care and thought goes into the love we feel for them. So many people feel it's just something to get our rocks off, or that we're desperate loners. There are so many posts here that show that just isn't the case.

To be frank I am not sure where you are going with your GF. Was your discussion just a vague one about the topic of bestiality, or one of where you were discussing the possibility of one of both of you trying the activity? If you were trying to convince her to try it, I think you are out of luck, considering her reaction was seem very negative and vehement. If you talking about yourself getting into it, and her helping you; once again I think you are up S creek with her now. In fact depending on how you worded the discussion you may very well have plunged a knife into the heart of your relationship with her. Been my experience that people who have mates that hold such strong anti-zoo feelings don't have long lasting relationships. In fact more often the not, its the zooie/beastie subject that tends to be the deal breaker in almost every failed relationship between a zoo/beasty and a non-zoo. Good luck on any future happiness with her.....but don't hold your breath.

It might depend on how you first approached the subject. If she's adamantly against the idea, all the positive arguments in the world may not change her mind. For now, all we have to go by is she thinks it's "wrong" and "gross", but no specific details as to why. Without those details, you won't be able to properly counter them. Explaining how people genuinely love their animals won't convince her if she truly regards animals as disgusting and unappealing.

Even if she realizes that it's not wrong, she may still think it's gross. Not everyone is into this kind of thing. For now, I'd agree with Fuel, drop the idea for a while and don't push the issue too hard. While you can still try to pursue the subject, it would be wise to remember there's a good chance you will never convince her otherwise.

-.- Bah. Do not explain anything to her. Ask her why she feels it's wrong and gross. You cannot argue anything unless you know what it is you're arguing.

The most likely reason that I can think of, is that it's 'cruelty' (in which case, you can argue against that), or... that it's generally not accepted in human society. *shrugs* However, as long as you/I/someone doesn't know why exactly she feels it's wrong/gross, don't bother trying to convince her otherwise. Just... try to figure out why she feels that way.

I have had three girlfriends who have been interested in dogs. I only casually mentioned to them that I thought it was erotic seeing a woman with a dog. All of them professed an interest and all have had sex with a dog. My latest girlfriend is the most turned on by it. Her reasoning for doing it is that she says, "It makes her feel trashy and slutty having me watch her being used by a dog". What ever the person's reasoning for doing it, it must be voluntary and of their own choosing . It is not for everyone. I am so glad i am attracted to the right kind of women.

First of all, you should probably realize that no matter how eloquent and convincing you are when you talk to someone about zoophilia if they’re vehemently against it in the first place more than likely you’ll just end up alienating the both of you. Secondly it sounds like you came on way to strong, almost every question regarding this topic recommends you start off slow with something like a lighthearted joke and judging by their reaction you go from there. I would say at this point… you’re up a creek without a paddle. Regardless I hope it works out for you. ^_^
