There's a hindu temple in wales (uk) that keeps a herd of sacred cattle. Their bull MIGHT have TB, so the government want to kill it. It's due for slaughter on the 14th May so we don;t have much time, but please sign the petition to save Shambo - it's not right that DEFRA can just come in and cull perfectly healthy animals. They say the bull is suffering but from the pcis i've seen he looks the picture of health! These people love this bull like a member of their family, it's a symbol of their GODS, they wouldn't let him suffer. It's been on TV but i figured the zoo community could help? The temple is called Skanda Vale and they have a website with a petition on it.

sigh - this REALLY borders or religion and politics - I am going to let the thread stand but lock it - I have given you the opportunity to ask - and I will move it over to zoo where it won't scroll away as fast.. I think thats fair :mellow:
